Project Details

The goal of this project was to provide a heated truck storage facility for winter storage, remove the existing Quonset building from the site, provide sanitary and water services to the facility, and collect roof stormwater and convey it underground to the storm sewer system.

We worked across multiple disciplines to construct a 120' wide by 60' deep pre-engineered steel building to serve as a heated truck storage facility. The facility was designed with 6 bays and included a heated floor system and an HVAC system capable of reducing the high humidity levels commonly experienced in this type of facility during the winter months. Additional aspects of this building include:

  • Roof drain collection system consisting of 6 downspout risers and 320 LF of 6" PVC storm pipe
  • Perimeter foundation drain tile system
  • 195 LF - 2" water service line and appurtenances
  • 180 LF - 4" sanitary service pipe with modifications to existing manhole to accommodate a drop situation
  • 2,750 Ton - Aggregate Base Course
  • 6,800 SF - Concrete flatwork

For this project, we provided:

  • Architectural Design
  • Structural Design
  • Steel Structure Design
  • Preliminary and Final Design
