The new sanitary sewer system replaces individual septic systems with a centralized collection and treatment approach, significantly reducing environmental risks and improving public health protections. This investment provides Trosky residents with reliable wastewater service while helping the city meet state and county requirements. The project represents a sustainable, long-term solution that supports the community’s future while protecting nearby water resources.

Improvements included a gravity sewer collection system serving properties throughout the community, a lift station and force main, and new wastewater treatment ponds located east of the city.
