Mni Wasté Water Company - Eagle Butte to Timber Lake

Bringing reliable water to more communities is part of Mni Wasté Water Company’s mission, and our team is proud to be part of these efforts. Adding Timber Lake to the MWWC system required over 30 miles of pipeline construction and two new water towers. Combining traditional survey methods with cutting-edge photogrammetry and LiDAR-equipped drones, our Survey Crew gathered accurate data across the entire project expanse efficiently and effectively.

Project Details

The project generally consists of 30+ miles of pipeline and two water tower sites. One north of the Moreau River and one in the city of Timber Lake. Our crews completed topographic and boundary surveying on the entire route. This was done using several methods, from traditional survey methods to UAS-based data collection, including photogrammetry and LiDAR. We created an existing conditions base file and created easement documents and plats for the route
