Project Details
Banner assisted the Town of Hurley by working closely with its local planning agency, the Southeast Council of Governments (SECOG), to secure funding for all these projects. Banner initially prepared amendments to its facility plans for the Phase I Sanitary Sewer and Center Avenue projects, including project scoping, rate analysis, environmental reviews, and cost estimates. This allowed the projects to be put on the State Water Plan, making them eligible for SDDANR SRF funding. Banner worked with SECOG to secure additional funding through the SDDOT Community Access Grant program for Center Avenue. Banner also worked with SECOG to secure funding for the Lake Hurley Recreation Trail through the SD Game, Fish & Parks Recreational Trails Program. Banner and SECOG worked hand in hand to identify multiple eligible funding sources for community projects.
