Project Details

By identifying the sources of water intrusion and implementing targeted exterior repairs, the project improved the long term performance and durability of the building envelope. Repairs were completed while maintaining the appearance and functionality of this prominent venue, helping extend the life of the exterior wall and roof systems and reduce the potential for future maintenance and repair needs.

This project involved exterior building envelope repairs at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Improvements included cleaning oil staining on metal panels, addressing efflorescence and cracking in precast concrete panels, replacing deteriorated joint sealants, and improving roof and parapet detailing at the precast wall interfaces. Banner Associates evaluated areas of water infiltration, developed repair recommendations, and supported the implementation of solutions across multiple construction contracts to restore the exterior systems and protect the interior of the facility.
